Domain Pricing
Domain names are priced according to a number of factors: Current market value, investment potential, site ranking, brand-ability, search volume and demand. Some domains command higher prices as they represent substantial market share of that keyword.
Buying a Domain Group
Many of the domains on Name5 are grouped into a market area, subject matter, brand or keyword with plurals and hyphenated versions included in the group. This offers the purchaser the opportunity to protect their investment and often keyword usage on the internet.
Domain Purchase
Please contact us to secure the domain of your choice. Payment can be made by BACS or cheque. The cost of transferring the domain to you is included for any domain with a sale price of over £300-00. To ensure your security you can employ an ‘escrow’ service. This cost is not, however, included in the sale price.
Domain Transfer
Your purchased domain will be released by us within 24 hours of your payment being cleared. Most commonly, transfer is initiated within the hour. You will receive an email on the address you have supplied asking you to accept the transfer of the domain to you. From here you can make your choices of nameservers and hosts for your new domain. Most domain names can be transferred and be ready to host a website within a few hours, but please allow up to 24 hours for the web address to ‘propogate’ around the web.
